The seven groups that have already received notification of the Ministry and Industry, the most ambitious project to fruition in recent years: the installation of 1,400 megawatts with an investment, according to data that are handled in the media from 2,000 million euros and the creation of 1,500 jobs in industries that must accompany the Wind Plan.

The case of wind power allocation for the installation of Wind farms in the autonomous community of Cantabria is processed in accordance with Decree 19/2009 of 12 March, which regulates the installation of Wind farms in Cantabria (BOC on March 16 , 2009) and the bases of the public tender for the allocation of wind power for the installation of wind farms that are made by decision of the Council of 2 June (BOC July 8, 2009).

The group Ascan-Apia XXI has been awarded the “G” territorial zone that matches on the map of the region of Cantabria Iguña and Bárcena de Pie de Concha, between the region of Torrelavega and de Campo.

Ascán- Apia XXI present, application for obtaining administrative approval of wind farms wind power which is at least 75 percent of wind capacity allocated prior to January 1, 2013, unless there were objective reasons other than attributable to holders who prove unable to submit such requests by the date indicated above, particularly in relation to the limitations imposed by current planning.

On the other hand, will be developed in parallel with the Plan of Actions on I+D+I  projects and installation project socio-economic terms in the request.
